You miss a simple truth on why many minorities vote for Trump (I did once, but not twice): He does not treat them like victims.

The problem the Right has with BLM is that BLM is viewed as a "we are victims" movement. Believe it or not, many people don't want to be lumped in with victims.

Similar to Trump's presentation that wearing a mask makes you weak, many people (minorities included) want to come across as "alpha dogs" and you can't do that when you are told you don't control your own fate.

Similarly, if you are told someone is holding you down, and you "rise above", it's because you aren't Alpha, but rather a bunch of activists and others lifted you up.

That's pretty Beta. That doesn't sell with everyone.
