Rebooting My Medium Persona

You don’t know what to expect from me, and that’s a problem.

So, I’m going to fix it. Let’s face it, if you’re following me it’s likely because we did a “follow-for-follow” swap so we can both get over 100 followers (thank you for that, by the way!)

But you aren’t reading my stuff, because I’m all over the place. I can be serious, snarky or controversial.

What good is that to you?

I may be talking about religion, politics, work life or technology. How many other people have that mix of interests?

So, you (wisely) skip on past when you see a notification that someone you follow has a new article. I don’t blame you.

So, I am going to change my focus. This will take effect immediately, though the impact will be over a longer period of time. I am shall:

[Note: “I am shall?” WTF I am shall start editing better…]

• Post more often. At least twice per week. (Not often enough, I know)
• Post within a narrow set of interests. Work life and things relating to it from anti-work on one side to capitalism on the other
• For each article I post, I am going to remove one from my portfolio until there is no evidence of anything other than what my “new Medium” needs to look like.
