Fantastic article!

As a Christian, it was enlightening to discover that many of the beliefs we have (you know, the pointless ones we argue over) weren't even "arguments" until the 1700's and 1800's when so many modern ideas of what Christians should believe started to develop as ways for the new, up-and-coming denominations tried to differentiate themselves from their Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
